Annotated catalogue of the type specimens of salmon, cod and cottoid fishes described by Dmitry Taliev

The article provides a brief biography of the ichthyologist Dmitry Nikolayevich Taliev (1908–1952), as well information and illustrations for 24 taxa described by him from White Sea (Gadidae – one subspecies), coast Okhotsk (Salmonidae Lake Baikal (Cottidae 2 species 4 subspecies; Abyssocottidae 6 8 Baunt 1 species). For 19 taxa, photographs radiographs type specimens kept in collection Zoological Institute Russian Academy Sciences (Saint Petersburg, Russia) are presented first time.
